Did You Know You Can Schedule Emails in Outlook?
Hello all,
Did you know that
you can schedule your emails to be sent later in Outlook? This feature can be
extremely helpful when you're working outside regular business hours or need to
send a message at a specific time but don’t want to forget.
Here’s how to
schedule an email in Outlook:
-
Compose your
email: Open a
new message and type your email as usual.
-
Click on the
"Options" tab: You'll find it in the ribbon at the top of the window.
-
Select
"Delay Delivery": In the "More Options" section, click on the
"Delay Delivery" button.
-
Set the
delivery time:
In the window that pops up, check the box labeled "Do not deliver
before" and select the date and time you want the email to be sent.
-
Click
"Close" and "Send": Once you’re done, click "Close" to
return to the message, then click "Send." The email will remain
in your Outbox until the specified time.
Scheduling emails
helps you manage your communication more efficiently, ensuring you reach your
recipients at the right moment, even if you’re not available.
